Abstract Portrait

29 Faces Challenge #8

I'm cheating a little bit with this one, since I did this last summer. But since I'm catching up, and since this is a fun portrait exercise to do, I thought I'd share it here. Over this past year, I've been trying to do abstract compositions. This was one of my first efforts, which I blogged about earlier here.

  1. Nice piece - I was thinking of cheating a bit too - I'll see how it goes - I have a bunch of faces I've worked on in the past 6 months. It's hard to catch up! Really like this work

  2. I don't think it matters at all if you painted this last summer...you painted it, that's what matters. I like the colours you used and the balance of this work.

  7. Oh Debbie I really like this! Very mysterious. I know what you mean about catching up. It's not easy to prduce something every single day. But as long as you made it yourself it's okay, I guess.
